Not sure what to say?

I don´t know if this will ever reach Alison or Marshall but I wanted to say how saddened I am to just now learn of Howdy´s passing. I am a cousin from Ohio. Our grandmothers were half sisters. Rick, Howdy, my brother Bob Fisher & I all attended the Covenant Presbyterian church in Butler when we were in school. I roamed all over Mercer Co with Howdy working on the family history. Howdy was very proud of his children and grandchildren. I am so sorry I lost contact with him. Love to all the...

As we again prepare for the annual Myrtle/Pinehurst golf trip, with the Myrtle Cup permanently renamed The Howard Roe Challenge, we are reminded how much we miss our friend.

Howard was a good friend and brother-in-law. I had many good times and laughs with him at family functions. I'm sure Howard will see this and I'm sorry to say that I would give Howard an A+ for a life well lived BUT his choice in football teams always left me disturbed. Sorry Howard---(A-)

We miss you, Howard. Bryan

Was so saddened to learn of Howdy's passing. It was just 6 months ago we received such an uplifting Christmas greetings. Our families go way back to First Presbyterian church in Butler from time we were in grade school and, of course, Meridian baseball teams from ages 10-18. Howdy, Rick and I were on the Dodgers in LL coached by Ches, Howdy and Rick's Dad. Shocking to me, I'm the only one left of our two families. Howdy was such a good guy. RIP brother.

I attended school with Howdy from first grade to graduation. I remember him as a kind and friendly person. May you find peace and comfort from friends and family

Saddened to hear my boyhood friend from Meridian had passed. Howdy was a great Guy who I enjoyed hanging with. May his family find peace and may Howdy RIP.
