Read MoreHoward & I were good friends in high school. I remember what a nice guy he was, to everyone, always. The two of us took a fun & `crazy´ 2 week trip together to California & back, in my parents Plymouth station wagon in 1958-60 period. Even though we didn´t stay real close over the years, I´ll miss him. He was a really nice person all the time.

Howard was a remarkable man and a true friend, .Our family has known Howard since the 60s when his family were neighbors in Knoxville. We spent several vacations together. As kids and then adults we have so many great memories. After leaving Knoxville, moving to Cincinnati then Grand Rapids we still stayed in touch and would visit.
