Leslie & Family - You are in our thoughts and prayers -- We were patients of Howard's and were saddened to hear of this news.

Leslie & Family - My deepest, heartfelt condolences I send to you and your family. I have been a patient of "Doc" Shultz since the 80's (the days when you were in the office) and always enjoyed that 6 month check up - it was like catching up with your friend. He was a true gentlemen and professional in all he did. Having 3 boys involved with baseball, we always had great chats. We were fortunate to have "Doc" umpire a game, and I can remember one of the boys going up to him after the game...

I am so sorry to hear this news today. Leslie, my deepest condolences to you. As I read all these entries, I see that he didn't just deal with my own fears of dentistry, but it seems like he did that for everyone. He was a wonderful dentist and human being. I am so sorry for your loss, and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to Dr. Schultz's wife and family. He was the best dentist anyone could ever have had. The visits, our talks and laughs always made me comfortable. I don't know who I will ever go to now. He always knew I was such a baby and refused to ever go to another dentist. He will be so missed. May you rest in peace

Our deepest sympathy. The Schipmann Family

To the Schultz family I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Howard.I used to umpire with him at DVUA.He would always answer any questions about baseball that I had.I know he will be missed.

I truly do miss Howard and regret that i was not able to attend his funeral. He was my dentist for at least 20 years and also a friend. He would schedule extra time at my appointments so he could tell me how much better the Yankees were than the Mets while he had sharp instruments in my mouth.

I have been and will continue to pray for all of Howard's family during this difficult time.
