Send FlowersHoward Elmer Schwanke passed away on October 1, 2025, at his home in Monmouth , Oregon. He is survived by his wife Hannah, son Eric, and four granddaughters. A memorial service will be held at Evangelical Bible Church, Dallas, Oregon, on October 13 at 3 p.m.

I will miss the friendship and humor that Howard and I shared these past few years. All that was needed between us was "What trouble can we get in?" and argue about who got to pick a direction after the work was done. I will dearly miss Howard. My heart and prayers go out to the family.
