So sorry for your loss. Does anyone know if this is the Howard that also attended the University of Tampa for one year as a freshman? (Wonderful memories!)

We hold many fond memories of times spent together with Howie both in Florida and Charleston and will miss his optimism and great smile. We recall one trip to Charleston when we were on babysitting detail with our granddaughter. Howie was so flexible and accommodating, ensuring that all enjoyed a good time, even with our grandbaby in tow. RIP Howie - you will be missed.

Please know how very sorry I am for your loss and that my prayers will be with all of the family. I remember Howard always smiling and being such a positive person to be around. He will be greatly missed.

I'm also saddened to hear of Howard's death. Some of the happiest times of my life was spending Summers in CHS w/ my cousins in W.Ash, S. Windwemere- inevitably a gang of us hanging out w/ the Shermans! My best tribute to Howard is that somehow he knows he will be missed greatly & recalled often. My heartfelt condolences to the family,
