Howard P. Singer, 71, a proud Vietnam veteran, passed away on March 29, 2023 at CMC in Scranton, PA. He was born on October 18, 1951 in Montrose, PA, to the late Hugh and Hazel (Lathrop) Singer.


He was a beloved father, brother and uncle, he is survived by his daughter, Kristy Singer, grandchildren, Justin and Blair Geddings, Amber and Dylan Watts, 11 brothers and sisters, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Nicole Watts, four sisters, Susan Henry, Louise Klim, Clara Smith and Betty Monaco, two brothers, Roger and Gerald Singer.


Howard was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved being outdoors and was known for his beautiful flower gardens and his carpentry skills. He worked at Barnes Kasson Hospital for 27 years, and then went on to work at the Blue Ridge School District for 15 more years. Howard will be missed by friends and neighbors alike; he was always willing to lend a helping hand to any that needed it.


Memorial Services will be held later.

I remember Howard from 11-7 shift at Barnes. Lots of good memories. Rest in peace Howard
