Not sure what to say?

Grandpa, you are the person that I had always wanted to grow up to be; the person that everybody knew and loved. Now that I am older, I realize how lucky I was to know you. And no matter how far life takes me, I will always remember you. My best memories will always be sitting on the porch drinking rootbeer on a quiet, summer night, watching the flame of a candle flicker in the wind as I listened to my grandpas wonderful stories. I know that throughout my entire life, I will never have any...

Howard will be missed dearly by all that knew him. His memory will live on in his wonderful kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bonnie all the rest of his family. Love and thoughts, Bruce and Kathy Jepson

Grandpa, I will miss you so much and hope i become half the man you were. You taught me so much and I will cherich the memories. Thanks for picking me up from school almost everyday of my life and letting me shift gears in your old school bug. You were a greater influence on me more than you will ever know. I love you so much and I will miss you...Your Grandson - Justin

Dear Mrs. Spangler, Debby, Mike and Lynn,

Our thoughts are with you and your entire family at this difficult time.

I think of Howard and my mind is flooded with memories some make me laugh and all of them make me happy. I was so lucky to live across the street from such a wonderful man. Howard I want to thank you for all the good times you provided to me and the neighborhood kids growing up. We shut down the airport with our kites at Pudding Stone Lake (all time),...

Bonnie, Debbie, Mike, and Lynn, I am sorry to hear that Howard has passed on. I have nothing but good memories of the times we shared growing up, playing tennis, camping, attending church, and just hanging out on the front porch of your house on center st. you all are in my prayers and thoughts. Mark Thornton (the little boy down the street Bonnie!)

My Love to all of you, I know you will miss your dad/husband/grandpa/friend. I felt like I had known Howard forever from the first moment I met him. Bonnie & Howard you had the kind of marriage that was meant to be, not only Husband and wife, but best friends too. I want to thank you both for bringing up such great kids too. I will miss Howard and the FUN that he was! Thanks to all the Spanglers for making me feel like a part of the family! I love you all, Pam

Howard was a man who walked through life to the beat of his own music, but somehow he made us all believe that was the music we needed to hear also. My boys and I have such wonderful memories of the California station wagon pulling up with all the Spanglers inside! Howard will be sorely missed, but his memories will keep him alive for all of us. Your Arkansas families are thinking of all of you and keeping you in our prayers. love, Geneva

So very sorry I didn't get to say bye. We traveled the road together when we were young and we sure had a good time. You were always asking me if I knew this one ant that one, you seem to know everyone in town. We will miss seeing you and Bonnie walking downtown Covina and at the farmers market. But I am sure that walking on steets of Gold is a lot better.. Bye Pal. Carrol Harris

My condolences to the family of Howard. Our family has a lot of fond memories of uncle Howard through the years. He will be missed by all who knew him. We will be praying for the family during this time of grief and loss. God bless. Richard
