With Mr. Howard Sparrow's anniversary of his passing this November 6 and Veterans Day soon to follow, I would like to express some thoughts of this great gentleman. I still have memories of my high school years working for Mr. Sparrow as my first employer at his business the Queen City Laundry and Dry Cleaners. My sister Olga informed me of your father's passing and I am truly sorry to hear the sad news. I was privileged to have had Howard as my first employer at Queen City Laundry while I was in High School and my first year in college. I learned alot from him and his two foremen Roy Galvan and Lugardo Cantu. I very much respected this great gentleman for his kindmess and caring for his employees and the community he served.
