Glen and Gail, I am sorry to hear the loss of your father. Mr. Strickland was such a kind person to me at Ferndale and at Highland Park when I saw him at festivals. He and my dad, Eddie Mizell, were church friends. Mr. Strickland was such a charming Man of God. So thankful to have known him since 1971.

How could you know Ed and not love him ? He was such a southern gentleman. Whenever we ran into Ed, he always made it a point to remind us how much he enjoyed and appreciated Erma´s mom feeding a group of men from Ferndale who had gone to Olanta on a failed dove hunt.
