Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to the Tompkins family. My family lived next door on Wilson Creek Rd. in Berkshire, NY when we were just kids. I remember going back and forth between houses and always a fun time. RIP Tinker....

I, too, met and worked with Howard at Heiberg Forest. He was my supervisor for the summer work program for ESF during 1989. He was a great guy. We just reconnected on Fb through a mutual friend over this past year or two. Nice laughs. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.

Pat, Carol and family I am sorry to hear of Howard's passing. Sending sincere condolences and prayers.

Howard was with me when I, did a foolish thing ...just fill in the blank. As kids, we did a lot of foolish, fun, and good things together. He is a great man, the world will be a little bit diminished for his loss, but God called him home and heaven is a blessed today. Farewell my good friend.

Sending condolences to his family and friends. We are so sorry for your loss. Most memorable for me was working with Howard on the farm and deer hunting together many years ago, he was a friend and mentor to me. I loved his laughter and joy for life. He will be missed.

You probably don't know me, but I worked with Howard at Heiberg Forest for several years. I am so sad the hear of Howard's passing. He was a great friend and we really had a lot of fun working together. Lots of really good memories!!

Plant a Tree

I have many memories of Howard- watching NASCAR on the weekends, "schooling" me at a young age on the superiority of The Eagles (as an adult I agree with him on this), and mostly him bringing our Christmas tree for many years. May your many memories bring you comfort during this difficult time. Thinking of you all.

I´m so sorry Geoff, Jason & Jon. Sending my love thoughts & prayers to each of you.. RIP Howard
