Not sure what to say?

Mr Turner was my favorite teacher at high school. When people say that a teacher can have a huge, lifelong impact on students, they're talking about teachers like Mr Turner. I'm lucky to have been his student and so sorry that he's died.

Mr Turner instilled in me an incredible desire to learn and be curious that has remained with me my entire life. He will be greatly missed. I was blessed with many great teachers at Classical - he was one of the best!

I will miss a valued colleague and a gifted teacher. Back in the day, we enjoyed many trips to Fenway Park together.

Whenever someone complained about the timing of a test of quiz, Mr. Turner would say, "Smile! Tomorrow will be worse!" I now use that today with my students, attributing it to Mr. Turner every time. He was a good man, and I will look out for some Black Crow candy in his honor.

I was so lucky to have Mr. Turner as my Latin teacher for my 4 years at Classical. I also had the opportunity to travel to Greece and Rome with a Latin Club group and Mr. Turner- I have great memories of those times. So sorry to hear of this news. My heartfelt condolences to Mr. Turner's family. He'll be greatly missed.

My sincere condolences... I had Mr. Turner my Senior year for Latin.. He really was a great teacher... he kept it interesting because he was so funny..

My deepest condolences. Peter was a wonderful colleague. Mirabile dictu

Although I did not have Mr. Turner during my years as a Classical student, I do remember him in the halls. He was always very nice. May God be with all of his loved ones during this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. I, and my three older brothers, had Mr. Turner for Latin class - a total of 16 years with the O'Neill boys. He was certainly one of the best and funniest teachers I ever had and he actually initiated my interest in the humanities. I also remember going to Greece and Rome with Mr. Turner for a Latin Club trip - a great experience I'll never forget. Thank you, Mr. Turner, you touched many lives.
