To the entire Walker Families, please accept our sincere sympathies on the passing of Howard. He was an extraordinary, generous and thoughtful man. It was an honor to have known him.

So very, very sorry for your loss. Howard was extraordinary - he could mentor, scare, and make you laugh all in the same meeting. He was a gift to all who met him.

As a member of the Planning Board, Howard made my job as Solicitor to that Board an easy task. There are a few lawyers I have encountered in my career who have made me a better practitioner, and Howard was one of them. I admired his patience, work ethic, and perhaps most of all, his sense of humor. Howard's passing is a tremendous loss to Hopkinton.
