Not sure what to say?

My family knew Howdy and family from the earliest days of living in Gainesville. His father and mine were University of Floriday professors in Agriculture beginning in the 1950's. I am sorry for your loss. God Bless You.

I met Howdy back in the 1970's and he has remained a loyal friend ever since. He took his youthful passion for tree climbing and turned into a long lasting successful career and business named Howdy's Expert Tree Service.
Over the years every time we talked he spoke about his loving wife Jeanne and his son Skylar who he was immensely proud of. He was a great story teller and put a spin on day to day life's follies, bass fishing, gator sports, surfing, and his tree business.

A life is significant for its impact on other lives and Howdy touched many lives...telling as many stories as Steve. My love to the both of you, Jeanne and Skyler and know that my heart is very heavy by Howdy's death. He had a heart of gold and will leave a hole in all our hearts and lives.

We are all so saddened to hear of Howdy's passing. You and Skyler are in our prayers. We are so sorry for your loss.

Howdy will be missed he was a good friend and faithful customet

I am so sorry to hear about Howdy, I just loved him, like someone else had said A Great Gainesvillian. I hadn't seen him but once or twice lately but he came right up and carried on like the days had been few. I am glad that I had the pleasure of having him cross my path on this earth. I feel certain I will see him again. My prayers are with the family as it is hardest to lose the ones closest to us on a daily basis. RIP my friend.

Wayne and I would like to offer our deepest condolences to you and your family. Howdy will be missed but never forgotten.
