D'Anne, Butch, Sandy and Tommy -- our hearts are with you ALL --Howard was such a great presence - through it all. My deepest sympathies are with you all in your tremendous loss. Howard worked with my Grandma. Carlin loved him.

Back in the day, I was a state trooper and knew Howard well, he was a very honest, a good friend and a person I admired. Carlin lost one of it's best.

His devotion to our Carlin youth and community through his dedicated basketball camps taught more than just basketball but life skills, integrity and made sure the kids had fun while they learned. Our lives are truly blessed to have known him and he will be greatly missed.
