Howard was a tall lumbering fellow in high school and was friends to everybody. There was nothing discordant to his personality or demeanor. He had a subdued gentleness that was refreshing during tumultous times. He was a fellow that would "not extinguish a smoldering wick"...a description of Christ in the Gospels...so non controlling was he. A quality rare in these days. Rest in peace, my friend...and give Marty my love!

Howard and I were good friends in elementary school. I have a tremendous story to tell about him, but trying to write it would not do it justice. I would be happy to tell it on the phone, so feel free Adrienne to email me at [email protected] to arrange a time to talk. The story shines out some of Howard's wonderful personality traits. I was very sad to hear of Howard's passing. He was a fabulous friend.

I went to high school with Howard and was pleasantly surprised to reconnect with him when Adrienne was my son's fourth grade teacher at Boulevard. He was such a nice man...our thoughts and prayers are with all who loved him.

He always stopped in my deli to eat and talk.Howard is one of the kindest and sincere people i have ever met.he always asked about my family every time we spoke.
