Not sure what to say?

RIP Howell! My condolences to the family. Howell's efforts and contributions to the success of the BMW NEF and it's Winter Rally were legendary. The amount of time, effort and resources Howell and his family provided were beyond extraordinary. I have fond memories of my years of having the privilege to assist Howell and his family team as a volunteer grill chef.

Nancy and all the Winfree family. My heart is with you as you walk through this loss. Howell and Nancy, you both were so kind and welcoming and supportive of everyone connected with BMW NEF. He will be missed. May you find comfort in your loving memories of him.

Howell was a wonderful, caring man. He & his wife gave a tremendous amount of support to BMWNEF and especially leading the efforts to support our winter rallies for over 20 years coordinating and preparing meals for 500 plus attendees. Thank you , Howell, for being an outstanding leader among us. May you rest in peace with God. With fond memories, Millie & Jim Stevenson

I encountered Howell, and his warm smile, the first time I walked into a BMWNEF meeting, back around 2003. I can't recall ever having seen any Other expression on his face. I haven't been active in the club for many years, but I'll always remember this kind and generous man. RIP

I remember several of the Winter Rally bike events where I was a volunteer. Not only did Howell and Nancy organize meals for the event but they took amazing care of the volunteers. I have never seen a man that could cook Chili in a pot that seemed "bottomless" to feed the volunteers. Thank you Howell for all of your kindness.

So sorry to hear of Howell's passing. I have many fond memories of time spent at the BMWNEF Winter Rally where Nancy and Howell unselfishly invested many, many hours preparing food for the attendees and volunteers. Always a gentleman, he will be remembered and missed by so many of us who spent time in his company. Ride on, Howell.
