Hoyle Wilson Lee CHARLOTTE - Hoyle Lee died Wednesday afternoon, October 29, 2014, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. He was 88 years old. Born August 11, 1926 in Jefferson, SC, Mr. Lee was the son of the late Hoyle M. and Ethel Lee. He retired from Branch Motor Express after 37 years of service. He was a member of Midwood Baptist Church and former member of Grace Baptist Church for 43 years. In addition to his parents, Hoyle was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Bessie Mae Rollins Lee. Surviving are his daughter, Betsy Lee Williams and her husband, Steve; his sister, Jenny Fraizer of West Columbia, SC; his two grandsons, Jason Williams and Matthew Williams; and his great-grandson, Michael Williams. Friends are cordially invited to visitation with the family from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, at Jefferson Town Cemetery in Jefferson, SC, with the Rev. Leland K. Stephens officiating.
