Not sure what to say?

Dear Caven Family:
I'm so saddened to hear of the loss of your son, Scott. He was a good friend of my nephew, Paul Barndt. They enjoyed water skiing and just hanging out. I know he will be missed by many, many people. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Nancy Brennan

I am so sorry to hear about Scott. He was a talented water skiier and overall athlete. I met Scott on a water skiing trip with my nephew Paul B. and family several years ago. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Dear Scott & Vivien,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you all the way from Hawaii. I know you loved Scottie dearly as he loved the both of you - remember that he will always be with you.
I pray that God gives you daily strength to endure your pain - I am sure that He will.
Be strong and cling tightly to one another.
With sympathy and love,
Mark & Loretta Hellrung

Scott was such a wonderful guy. We miss him every day in yearbook. He was so talented at everything--photography, lacrosse, sac, academics, music--basically anything he tried. He was always a gentleman and had such a wonderful sense of humor. I'm so glad I knew Scott, because there was never anyone like him, and I'll never forget him. Dear Caven family, you'll always be in my heart and prayers.

Bill, Angela, and I send our sincere sympathy and prayers to you and your family. I am Mandy's Mother and was so happy to have spent several days in Austin with Mandy and Preston in July; Preston was telling us how glad he was about his little brother coming to Austin to begin at UT. We are so sorry about the accident and will keep you in our prayers. Sincerely, Amalea and Bill Wallis

Dear Caven Family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I often hear updates about Lindsey and the rest of your family, but to learn of this tragedy broke my heart. My thoughts are with you in this terrible time.

Sincerely,

For Scotty's Family ~

I'm Mandy's sister. I never met Scotty, but I have met Preston several times. My heart and prayers go out to each of you during what will likely be one of the toughest times of your life. Mandy asked me to share a poem with you that helped me through the loss of a loved one. I hope that it helps you as it helped me.

With My Sincerest Sympathies - Kim

This poem was written by Mary E. Frye in 1932 to try to console a friend:...

Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family - from Mandy's parents

Caven Family,
I had so much fun with Scotty and Jennie V at your lake house last summer. I enjoyed listening to Scotty's stories, as I don't know much at all about Lacrosse or Waterskiing. Im proud to of had Scotty as my cousin. Too bad I didnt see him more often. But I learned alot more about him after the service. We will all miss him. Im so sorry.
Love always-
