Hubert Ashman

It was an honor to work along with Hugh Ashman at The Jackson Clinic and Methodist Hospital in Madison.

When I saw the obit this morning, my first thought was of sweet corn. My late parent in laws, Harland and Margaret Klipstein, lived just down the block from the Ashmans. When our now adult kids were little ones in the 80s, we would often have Sunday dinner there with other extended Klipsteins in the summers. At some point, my mother in law would call Dr. Ashman and say someone would be coming over to fetch corn. He would always ask, "Is the water boiling yet?". Then one of the Klipstein...
