Hubert C. "Hugh" Edfors

I knew Hugh through the Studebaker and Avanti Car Clubs in the Chicago area. Since meeting Hugh in 2011 at a meeting, I´ve considered him a fellow car enthusiast, friend, mentor and the consummate gentleman. We traveled together to many states attending Studebaker and Avanti meets, the longest trip being a 2015 tour of Route 66 from IL to Santa Monica CA. I will greatly miss Hugh´s easy going personality, financial advice, car recollections, quick wit, sense of humor and enthusiasm for life....

What an absolute pleasure connecting with Cousin Hugh and Jackie since moving out to the area! I have never met such an intelligent man who could converse in a wide range of topics! I very much enjoyed gathering family history and pictures for posterity - HE was the man who Really knew our family history in detail! Although we knew each other for too short of a time, I feel very Blessed to have Hugh and Jackie as Family. This is not goodbye, but merely a farewell for now. See you next...
