Hubert David Graham
"Dave", age 76, passed away on Saturday, October 8th, 2022, with his family by his side.
Dave was born May 2nd, 1946, in Royston, Georgia to Joe Hubert Graham and Emma Ruth Fortson, and was raised in Kannapolis, North Carolina. At age 18, Dave moved to Flint, Michigan to pursue employment with General Motors. Dave was passionate about his work and retired after contributing 43 successful years to the company.
Throughout his life, Dave was an avid outdoorsman, participating in hunting and fishing. He was an enthusiastic "football" fan. Dave had a way of telling stories, and whether you believed them or not, they were most likely to be true. He thoroughly enjoyed sharing time with his family and close friends. Dave was a jokester, and a good hearted man, who always sought to help others. He married Marta Carrasco on March 6th, 1981. Most of all, Dave was a wonderful husband, a great father, and a proud grandfather.
Dave is survived by his loving wife, Marta Graham, children, Lloyd Graham, Roger Graham, Rodney Maitland, and Jessica Graham. Grandchildren, Kristianna "Knuck" Renee Graham-Hawks, Kailob David-Anthony Graham, McCarty Graham, Lloyd Michael Graham, Jennifer Graham, other grandchildren, as well as great-grandchildren. Sisters, Jo "Boot-z" (Leon) Boone and Hellen (Albert) Woodward. Dave is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Regan Graham and Leroy (Juliet) Gourdie, who were very close to him. In addition, Dave is survived by several extended family members and friends.
Dave is proceeded in death by his parents, Joe and Emma Graham, his siblings Herman and Millie Graham, his daughter Patricia (Tish) Krauss, his sister in law Mary (Billie) Carrasco, and his great niece Taylor Klepoch.
Thank you to all medical service workers, friends, and family that were supportive of and cared for Dave. He was grateful and appreciative of all. Dave will be missed by many.
There will be a viewing to those that would like to say their last goobyes to Dave on Saturday, October 15th, at Swartz Funeral Home off of Hill road, from 11am to 6pm, which will be followed by the funeral service.

I´ll forever cherish all of the holiday parties, calling you when I got in a car accident to sit with me until the cops came. Your grin and chuckle when I´d say something smart mouthed. All of the "funnies" you´d send and many more. You´re loved and will be missed beyond measure.
