Not sure what to say?

I love you Dad. I miss you every day. We are all helping mom these days with the transition of you being gone. You would be very proud of us I think. I know you are singing with the angels! I miss you everyday!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I first met Hubert at a deputation service at Tacoma First Church of the Nazarene in 1963 or 64. Our family has such wonderful memories of our time together in Japan where I was stationed with the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1972. In addition to his missionary responsibilities, Hubert was the pastor of our English speaking Nazarene Church by Yokota Air Base. Joyce and I cherished...

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. When I was a child I always thought that Hubert and Virginia were like movie stars because everytime they came home from Japan everyone wanted to see them and listen to the things they had to say. He would always write my name on my hand in Japanese and I wouldn't wash my hand for as long as I could to keep my name there. Hubert did make a difference in this world. I loved him and I like to think of him walking into heaven and seeing my Grandpa and...

May Christs love sustain you during this difficult time. How well I remember you caring for us when my parents had to be gone for several weeks. On Fairview ave Nampa. All 7 of us children. Everytime Hubert saw me since he teased me about putting the soup kettle on the table. There are many more memories that I shall never forget. You are dear to my heart.

I send my condolences to the Helling Family. I remember as a young boy when the Helling kids came to school and i imediately had some good friends. In recent years Doug and i shared many personal thoughts about life. My prayers are with you.

We are so sorry to hear of Rev. Hellings passing. He will be missed by many. He was such a kind and thoughtful man and a blessing to all those whose life he touched. I have so many good memories of deputation visits and those teenage years with Doug, Jerry, and Denise in Nampa. You are in our thoughts and prayers. (We have just recently moved to Gooding to pastor.)

The Hellings came to Gooding ID when I was in Jr. High. I babysat the kids and acted as church secretary while they were there. They were caring and loving pastors of our church.
As they were departing S.F. for Japan, they called my family. We had been visiting my aunt in S.F. - Sharon Bissett Jennings, (Fresno CA.)

Rev. Helling stayed in our home on one of his deputation visits in the early 60's. My dad was pastor of Wapato Church of the Nazarene, Wapato, WA, then. Rev. Helling also came to my church (Westside Nazarene) in Decatur, IL in the mid-70's. He remembered my parents. What a kind and Godly man. May the Lord bless and comfort you all.
