Not sure what to say?

To the entire Layton family. So sorry to hear of your loss. He was a great person. I live in Florida now so I didn't learn of his death until seeing it on the computer this evening. Prayers coming for the family.

Wow I'm shocked to just learn of Hubie's also I knew him as H.T when we worked at Discover Card together. I don't get the local newspaper anymore and the only reason I found out i noticed his yard was getting overgrown. I'm sorry to hear of his passing he was a nice and funny guy. He will be missed. So sorry to hear of Mr. Layton's passing. We just found out today. We were not close to Mr. Layton but we always enjoyed running into him around town and saying Hi and joking with each other. He was a really nice guy who always made us smile and we will miss seeing him at the polls.

Very sad loss. l always enjoyed seeing Hubie at family functions and the auction. Nice guy that held an amazing amount of history in his sharp mind.

My condolences to Hubie's family. He and I recently connected over a cartoon I had found representing his grandfather and mine when they were sherriffs together. My mother always spoke fondly of that connection between our families. I was glad to have had the opportunity to meet Hubie and share our families history together.

Sorry for the loss of Hubbie. Your family has buried many of my family with much respect. Hubbie hade the day whenever he was around. He also had an infectious laugh. He will be missed by many.

Lots of fond memories of Hubie at my aunt's & uncle's. Prayers for all his loved ones & the emptiness of not having him around. May the memories sustain you until we meet again!
