Not sure what to say?

Mr. Meabon was the BEST teacher I ever had including through graduate school. If there were more teachers like him, our educational system would be the role model throughout the world. May he rest in peace.

Certainly a well respected, calming and visible influence while traveling the halls of LHS. He will be missed.

I was on Stephen Ministry with he and Marilyn back in the day. They were both such wonderful people. Hugh always had an energetic, friendly smile. Such a great person.

Hugh was a true gentleman and a scholar; a class act in every sense of the term. He is one of the finest people I have ever known and it was a pleasure and a privilege to be in his company. His eloquence was matched and complemented by his sublime sense of humor, I will be forever in his debt for his support, guidance, mentorship, friendship, and inspiration. The world is a better place for his having been here. His memory will forever bring a smile to my face. My condolences to his family.

I am from the class of 1959 Brecksville High. Mr. Meabon was a wonderful example of an educator and administrator. May he RIP.

I was a member of the Class of 1960. Fortunately I was able to thank him at our 50th for my love of history as one of my college majors. This is sad news but a life well-lived.

Mr. Meabon was our class counselor & coach at Brecksville for the class of 1956. He was always well liked and respected. Our prayers for His family.

I knew him from his days at Brecksville. Nice man, always professional, a pleasure to know. He saw in the newspaper that I was promoted a few years ago, and even though I hadn't seen him in 20-30 years, he sent me an Email to congratulate me!
