I was living in ATL when i got the news. I was a former student of his since the 3rd grade at Barlow. He introduced and encouraged my poetry and art. I wish i could've sent off one of my favorite and influential patriarchs, however i am pleased that i can honor him here!

I was actually thinking of you for like a month now and reading the obituaries from Plainfield there you were , you came to my restaurant on watchung Ave often in the 90´s, you were good costumer and friend I will miss you! Oscar from Freddy´s pizzeria and lunchunnete Hasta la vista amigo!!

You were my favorite substitute teacher you will be missed!

Mr. Reeder you will truly be missed. Working together with you at the YMCA was great especially all the stories you would tell about you life... May you rest in peace

As I remanence, I am sitting on the porch at 1239 west 6th street Plainfield NJ, right up the street from your family house. Here you come, walking down the street (as you very often did) you see me and you stop. In my mind... Oh boy, let me prepare myself for your lengthy conversation! LOL "Rest in Peace cousin." Your journey on this side is done.
