Not sure what to say?

It was a great blessing to get to know Captain Larry for the last two years of his life. I helped take care of him, and was often his med aide as well for him at Canfield Place. He always had a joke to share, and was humorous all the time. I rarely saw him sad and it was a great honor to get to know such a great man. I will miss him, and I won't ever forget him. He has made a great impression in my life. It was a pleasure knowing Captain in this life, and can't wait to see him again in paradise.

Larry loved the outdoors

I am a staff member at Canfield Place Assisted Living and remember the day Larry moved in. He came in that first day with a positive attitude, happy to be here and a smile on his face. He was loved by the residents and staff and we all looked forward to the jokes he loved to share. He will be greatly missed! Thanks to his family for sharing him with us.

I had the privilege of meeting Larry and helping him move into Canfield Place over six hears ago. Larry was always friendly and an inspiration for all of us. Always ready with a joke or humorous story, Larry spread cheer to residents and staff. I have many fond memories of him and will miss him very much.

Dad loved dogs.

To the best dad! My your light shine on.

Dad, your smile always warmed up a room. You were loving and helpful to those in need, and steady as a rock. I'll miss your laughter and hugs. I hope you're still dancing to you're heart's content. With much love, Celia

I got to be his Medaide for the last year of his life. I feel greatly blessed to have known "Captian". Every morning when I woke him to give him his pill, he always greeted me with a smile and said,"There's my girl!." I have many fond memories of Larry. And look forward to seeing him again when I get to heaven. Much love to Larry!!

I was a care giver to Larry at Canfield Place in Beaverton. All of the residents and staff absolutely loved him! I was very sad that I didn't get to say goodbye to him, but I will always remember him. I was allowed to take his name plate home, and I plan to carry it with me everywhere. Larry made such a lasting impression on me with all of his jokes and amazing smiles. I love and miss you, Larry.
