I am at a loss with the passing of my Uncle and a Great Man! He was an inspiration my entire life and I always felt love for him. His talents were exceptional and I'll always have very fond memories of hanging with him and the family at Grandmommy/Grandaddys and singing around the piano. He is gong to be sorely missed. My entire family extends our sincere condolences to his loving family, and we look forward to one last visit and to pay our respects to my dear uncle. May he rest in piece! ...

Vernon Synan was truly a great and humble man. He never met a stranger, and knew how to listen to others. He was a giver and not a taker. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather. He was a churchman of the highest order. He respected others while maintaining his own moral and spiritual convictions. The world is a better place for Vernon's life and legacy.
