Hugh Caincross

Caincross, Hugh Ypsilanti, MI Age 84, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Bortz Health Care of Ypsilanti. He was born April 14, 1930 in Putney, WV, the son of Charlie and Mae F. Caincross. He served honorably in the U.S. Army. Hugh was employed by General Motors Willow Run plant for 36 years, retiring in 1994. On November 28, 1970, he married Nancy Rogers and she survives. He was a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Ypsilanti. In addition to his loving wife of 40 years, survivors include: four children, Jeff, Randy (Samantha), Kim (Matt) Willman and Aaron (Karissa) Caincross; seven grandchildren, Brittney, Randy Jr., Nichole, Garrett, Dakota, Sierra and Myles; five brothers, Max (Jean) Noah, Samuel (Sheila), Lewis (Nancy) and Paul David Caincross; four sisters, Ruth Wakus, Rachael (Bob) Cirillo, Barbara Drake and Melissa "Sue" Bellus; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Candie and two grandchildren, Aaron II and Cheyanne Caincross. The funeral service will be 1:30 PM Fday, December 12, 2014 at Stark Funeral Service.
