Rest well, Tom Callahan.
In 1971, as our Class Sponsor, 240 of us held you in high-esteem, many following your example of setting a high bar of excellence in our own roles as educators.
Even more than that, you helped me realize the prose of my life & the pentameter of my soul.

Mr. Callahan was one of the teachers I remember with fondness. Many years later when we reconnected at Tidewater Community College where I was working as a librarian, he still remember my senior research paper and commented on it uniqueness. He was very pleased that I had gone into education. He love teaching and it showed.
My deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends. Just know that he made a difference.

A wonderful educator that taught me to enjoy english & even grammer.
Rest in peace Mr. Callahan.
