Not sure what to say?

I met Hugh when we both worked at Bigwin Inn, a resort in Ontario's beautiful Muskoka - summer of 1951. I was sixteen and Hugh was nineteen. We kept in touch, sporadically, over the years, keeping abreast of our lives and sharing news of our respective children. I don't think you ever forget your first summer romance, and I will never forget Hugh.
My heart goes out to all of you. Fondly, Arlene Koyle

Mrs. Chapman, I was sorry to have read of the death of your husband. I work in Patient Relations at Emory Winship Cancer Institute, and I met you and your husband once, but saw you both often. Mr. Chapman seemed like a strong man. My condolences to you, and apologies for long days you both often had here. Be well, David

As a management trainee and later officer of C&S I remember the time that Mr. Chapman told me I could call him Hugh. He'll always be Mr. Chapman to me, a true gentleman. God Bless him.

Although I did not know Mr. Chapman, I know that my late father, Ray Shockley, thought the world of him.

Wishing you comfort during this time of loss,

Hugh was a great banker and mentor to me beginning in the C&S Bank in Georgia. The community will miss him - I will miss his leadership.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Hugh Chapman was a wonderful friend and an even better human being. May all his friend's and family's happy memories of him help to ease the sorrow we feel. And may his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.

An incredible gentlemen full of love for family, life and integrity. He will certainly be missed.
