Dear Cort family, sorry to hear of Hugh's departure. I have been keeping up with him these last few years. I knew when I did not hear from him that he must have been getting ready to leave us. When my oldest daughter , Virginia , called my concerns were confirmed. He was so very kind to me over the years. I will miss him. We had some great visits when I lived in South Carolina . Hello Cort family , I spent much time at your home in Mountaun Brook. You and Debbie were very unique persons. I truly treasure the memories.

Dear Charles, I am so sorry that Hugh died. He was lucky to have you to look out for him. His faith carried him through a long ordeal. We are thinking about you now and in the days to come.

Dear Hugh how well I remember our laughs and time together in Grad school, then seeing you at UAB defying odds in the MD Psychiatry residency program. Of course there was a time you helped me move. But back then you did that for many as I later found out it was One of your silent Christian ministries . Such hardship came your way so young for such a gentle soul.
