Such wonderful memories of growing up with all the Cowan's! Seemed like their home on Jimzel in La Mesa was a second home for me. We all lovingly referred to Hugh as "Baby Huey". Although, to his face he was always "Mr. Cowan". He was a very kind and gentle man. He had a man sized laugh!!
A special memory that sticks with me is a summer day in the 1970's when Baby Huey took Mike, Dennis and me body surfing up in Del Mar. We had a great time together! The waves were big and we boys...
