Not sure what to say?

I am just hearing of Hugh´s passing. We met through my brother in law Frank and Melissa Mitchell. We spent much time together when visiting Houston and Surfside Beach. I will forever cherish our conversations about photography and music. It was awesome to play guitar together! I´ll always remember the outing when Hugh bought that super sweet red custom Stratocaster. Rest In Peace Hugh!

Hugh Davis was a gentle man, but strong in his opinions. We met through a mutual friend who was a Baylor classmate. Hugh and I bonded over our legal training and our love of music. He was an excellent guitarist, with wide-ranging musical tastes. He was not a showman, but loved to play. My wife, Quincy Erickson, and I have missed seeing Hugh since the pandemic. We will miss his sarcastic laugh, his wonderful assortment of guitars, and his warm embrace. Vaya con Dios, amigo.

On behalf of the Stone Family, we were so sorry to hear of Hugh's passing. My older brother Charles(Munich, Germany) and Hugh were at Baylor together as well as the middle brother Allen (Simsbury, CT). I knew Hugh as well meeting him thru Charles and we would occasionally run into each other since we both lived in FW. I would like to attend the memorial service to represent the family since my brothers will not be able to make it. Please let us know a date once you have made a decision. ...

I had the privilege of working with Hugh for many years in the City Attorneys Office. He was a fine lawyer and a unique individual with many varied interests. He was an excellent photographer and I was able to purchase a few of his photos, really professional work. He will be missed by his many friends, my sympathies go out to Eden and the family.

He was a special friend. Smart, funny and genuine. I served on the city council for 13 years and we fought many a battle for the citizens of Fort Worth. His sage advice was always followed.

Hugh was that special person who started first as a work-colleague, but quickly became a friend. He inspired me to try some photography, his knowledge of languages and etymology was endless, his take on law and the practice of it usually left me with a smile on my face. He was a one-of-a-kind and I will miss him.
