Not sure what to say?

Our fathers were cousins and both families lived in Elmhurst,IL. I was very fond of his wonderful mother, Marie. His father Joe was great too.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.Hugh was a good friend and my golf buddy!

We were very sad to learn of the passing of Father Hugh Fullmer. My wife, Sharon, and I were very pleased to have Father Hugh serve as our Pastor on Sundays at Sharon, Wisconsin. Father Hugh said Masses at St. Catherine Church and area churches until his passing. We were very fortunate to have him with our parish family. He was truly a fine priest and welcomed all who attended. Father Hugh was very knowledgeable of the Bible and well traveled to many places in the world. These journeys...

Hugh was always such a positive and wonderful influence on everyone he touched. I grew up in Villa Park and often rode the bus with him to Quigley when he lived in Elmhurst. My condolences to his family & friends & to Fr. John Clements. Tom McNamara QN'64

One of Fr. Hugh's passions was marriage enrichment through the Marriage Encounter movement. Hugh dedicated countless hours to prepping and presenting himself in a team environment to couples of all ages and faiths. We became friends and one of our lasting memories is Fr Hugh's welcoming of children. He delivered "Zerbits" to all the kids once they warmed to this big teddy bear. Fr. Hugh challenged the heirarchy during some difficult times but never lost sight of his mission to care for...

My son was the first baby that Father Fullmer baptized many years ago in Joliet, IL. At St. Raymond's Cathedral ..He was a good man and we knew he would be a great priest.. Absent from the body, Present with the Lord....

Fond memories of Hugh from our IC grade school class 1952-1960. Rest in Peace. So happy you spent your life with the lord. Still remember the IC grade school reunion you initiated for the class of 1960! Last time I saw you which is a blessing! Our prayers for you and family and friends.

Favorite memories with Fr. Hugh We met Fr. Hugh the day after he moved into the rectory at OLM. My then seven year old son had stolen a Pokeman card from a friend. I dragged my son to the rectory for confession. Afterward the pair came out smiling and laughing like old friends. During Advent 2004 Fr. Hugh, Fr. Allam, and I took my kiddos to see the Polar Express. My youngest son was 6 at the time. He and Fr. Allam sat side by side sharing popcorn. Fr. Hugh and I spent much of the movie...
