Hugh MacPHERSON

Hugh and played together in many bands and he I toured together often and sometimes far, we had a great and fun relationship. Hugh called me "Enfant Terrible" in my slimmer 'chasing days' and we always considered each other as a father and son. He taught me a great deal about life, music and how to be a good man. I only learned yesterday of his passing.
I will miss you, and remember you with great fondness Hugh.
My thoughts are with Gwen and his family.

Hugh was conductor during the KOCR Band's most productive period. He is responsible for the MacPherson trophy, giving band members their first exclusive award. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Hugh's family and friends. Hugh was a proud member of the King's Own, and never hesitated to represent the Regiment, and his Band, in a positive professional manner. He will be missed.
