Not sure what to say?

To Hugh's children and families:

Hugh was my former husband's (Lou DiBernardo) good friend in high school, and they played football together. Lou died last October and I'm hoping that football is allowed in Heaven, because I'm sure they'd be tossing a ball on some green field up there. "Hughie" was at Lou's funeral and reception afterward, and it was nice to see him after our many years out of high school. Please accept my sincerest condolances; I am very sorry for your...

Scott, My thoughts are with you and your family. Your dad was a great man with a kind spirit. Bellows Falls and the education community are better because of wonderful people like your mom and dad.

Right up until the day he passed, he was helping children. I saw him regularly when he volunteered at Kurn Hattin, reading to our younger students. An amazing man that I have known for over 20 years. Thank you Mr. Perkins for all that you have done to help children achieve. You will be missed.

So sad to hear of Mr. Perkins passing. He impacted so many kids at BFUHS and I was one of them,

Sorry to hear about Pumpkin. Seems like just yesterday we were all kids at Grammie & Grampa Duby's on Park Street.

Our hearts are broken. This world has lost such a kind, selfless, loving soul. The man who would do anything for anyone and expect nothing in return. Hugh/PaPa has been a momentous part of our family. Holidays, graduations, football, baseball, softball, figure skating and family fun. Twenty years of wonderful memories to cherish. Things just wont be the same without you.To the Perkins family, we are so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your Dad. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are...
