Hugh Donald "Don" PITTMAN M.D.

I have thought of Dr. Pittman with fond memories over the years. I'm sorry I just found his Obituary upon looking up his name on Google. I moved away from Dayton 35 years ago. Dr Pittman and his medical team saw me through 3 miscarriages, and the births of my 4 sons.He delivered my second son, Aaron. I remember him as a very skilled physician, and above all, as a kind, caring, warm, empathetic Doctor and human being. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Happy to read that he enjoyed many...

Dear Family of Dr. Pittman, May it give you a warm feeling of comfort to know yor Dad was a wonderful man and physician. He delivered my children and helped us through one miscarriage....a wonderful doctor and friend...and Bridge player as well! May he rest in peace and my you carry on his legacy of goodness with pride. Our prayers are with you all.

Dr. Pittman was not only a great member of a fantastic OB/GYN medical team during my three pregnancies, but he was also a wonderfully sensitive, caring man. We enjoyed conversations about Akron, particularly events on Jason Avenue. I am glad that he lived a long, productive, happy life since he helped bring so many babies into this world.
