Not sure what to say?

Our condolences to the family and friends of Father
We met Father Gavin his first day of work at St. Matt's. He came to the hospital to give her her final blessings and has been coming for 37 years on that date to comfort us and celebrat her life. We will truly miss him this year but have his Gavinisms to comfort and guide us. He will be in our hearts forever.
Your life was a blessing
Your memory a treasure
You are loved beyond words
And missed beyond measure.

Father Gavin was a great man and a great person. He couldn't pass up a back-to-school school supply sale. And he used to say that if you allow unused clothes to stay in your closet you are stealing them from the back of the poor people or something like that. I've never met a priest as liked and respected as he was. He is back home with God.

My wife and I have known Gavin for a long time, myself for 70 years, Kathy for over 50. Gavin's life was one in service to other people. He was in his element when he was preaching, consoling and celebrating happy events in the lives of others. As a priest, he was so often engaged with offering the sacraments of the Catholic Church: "Hatch, Patch, Match, and Dispatch," as he often put it. Thanks, Gavin, for your life.

Father Gavin was a great man and a dedicated Carmelite. He married my wife and I in 1981 and was always in our hearts! Jim and Donna Plonczynski

You made my world better to Kate

I am saddened by the news of such a touching man´s passing. Father Gavin has a big spot in my heart. I will miss him dearly. Father Gavin guided me on my path to manhood and I will never forget the extra guidance he gave me. RIP dear friend.

Father Gavin was such a great person. My dad died just after I graduated 8th grade. Three Carmelite priests came to the wake- Fathers Gavin Quinn, Dave Dillon and Bob Lee. They told my mother "don't worry about your son. That's our job". They were there for me when I needed it most. May Our Lady of Mount Carmel bless Gavin Quinn. John Plezbert, M.C. Class of 1974.

I am writing to express my deepest condolences on the passing of Father Gavin Quinn. Father Quinn was truly an angel on earth, embodying grace, wisdom, and humanity in all his actions. His guidance and support profoundly impacted my life, offering help and saving me in ways words cannot fully convey. His loss is deeply felt by all who were fortunate to know him.May his soul rest in peace, and may we find comfort in the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
