ROBINSON, Hugh Alexander - Peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 13th 2010, surrounded by his loving family and after a long battle bravely borne with courage and dignity, Hugh, aged 73 years, of 1 Highfields, Hillcrest, Whitehaven, beloved husband of Mary, loving dad to Diane and Louise, dear father-in-law of Christopher and John, much loved granda to Adelle, Gary, Sam, Jack and Thomas, and a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral service to be held at St. James' Church, Whitehaven, on Wednesday, October 20th at 10.30a.m. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to be made payable to the Palliative Care Unit, c/o Eaves Funeral Service, 175 High Road, Kells, Whitehaven. We have lost a fine,courageous and a true Christian friend - a gentleman in every sense of the word. Our prayers and thoughts are with his loving wife, Mary, and with all his dearest family. The world is a poorer place without him. May Hughie rest in peace, and rise in glory, as he most surely will.
