Hugh Allan Shaw

Alan was a decent and noble person. He lead a good life and enhanced the lives of so many others, including me.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr.Shaw's passing, I was privileged to have him as a teacher at Perry High School. He was a gifted educator that made learning fun. My prayers and condolences to all family and friends.

Alan and I were classmates and members of the band. I remember him fondly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry to learn of Allan's passing. Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers, Cathy. Allan and I were friends from high school, and it was so nice to spend time with him while planning our 50th reunion.

I was blessed to have Allan Shaw as a teacher and honored to have worked with him years later at Perry High. He taught much more than his subject matter and instilled the life skills which helped so many young people survive the reckless abandon of our teen years. He will continue to be remembered fondly and heldin high regard by the PHS class of 1980 (and all those who came before and after) because he believed in us before we knew how to believe in ourselves.

Alan was a great friend and fellow drummer at Manchester High School. Later he was a fellow brother of Kappa Sigma at Georgia Southern. AEKDB.
