Hugh Sutherland Jr.

Not only was Hugh a friend, but a business partner, in the old Hidden Valley Ranch on Dug Hill Road. We traveled together on occasions, including a "rapid water trip" down the Colorado River, and a couple of islands in the Caribbean, along with skiing is Colorado. We both were young; however, time separated us, but my memories of Hugh will stay with me. Yes, I think of him and remember well our times together.

Dr. Sutherland cared for my sister when, as a toddler, she contracted meningitis. Our mother always spoke of how caring and compassionate a person he was during that frightening time in our lives. She has also told us that he switched to allergies because he suffered as much, or more, as his "children" while caring for them during serious illnesses. God bless him and his family! Remembering a longtime friend and associate! We were close at one time, and Hugh was a good friend. I wish that I had spent time with him as we aged but it was not to be. My condolence goes out to his family.
