Not sure what to say?

Hugh was a good friend and is missed. I still drive my '67 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior, and think of Hugh when driving it.

a super guy i miss him

Dear Connie and Family, Dick and I were saddened to hear of your loss. We pray that Hugh is at peace. God bless you and your family.

May god give him eternal rest a great gentleman. Sincerest condolences to Connie and family, on your bereavement.
Requiescat in Pace.

A jewel of a friend who enjoyed a tad-bit of sarcasm and accepted it in return with class. That is the measure of a true friend. We'll miss our summer reunions albeit infrequent but always cherished on Cape. Rick and Linda Marstons Mills

Extending condolences to the family. May God become a source of comfort and strength during this time of sorrow.

Whenever I look back on football at VMI, I only see that Cinderella season of '67. Hugh was a standout at defensive tackle, he made me look good playing right next to him as defensive end. Whenever I missed keeping the tight end off of "doubling down on him" he could work his way through, but would show his wit and kindly remind me he could sure use a little help!
Hugh also had the best treasure trove collection of Otis Redding! Which I loved almost as much as football!

Hugh will...

Dear Connie and Family,

I was deeply shocked and sorry to hear of Hugh's passing.

We had many good times and "adventures" with our Alfa Romeos. He will be greatly missed by his friends, but most of all by his family.

With deepest sympathy,

Gene, Debbie and Fred Kessler

Stephen and I send our deepest sympathies to this beautiful family. God Bless. Theo Hayes
