Not sure what to say?

Sending my sincere sympathies to the Tyler family. My heart goes out to you.

Mr. Tyler is remembered as a caring MAISD Superintendent who exhibited good listening and patience skills.

My condolences to the Tyler Family.

I am so grateful for having you in my life, Bumpa. Who you are will always affect who I am; I am lucky to be influenced by the wonderful man, teacher, veteran, and grandfather that you are. Now you are with our lovely Nanna, and I am happy for the two of you. Peace & Love.

The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear and all of us at Goodwill Industries of West Michigan share in your loss as well as in the great memories of an inspired leader and friend. Hugh taught me early lessons in the art of leadership when I was hired by the Board as President and CEO. Hugh was our Board Chairman. I always admired his quiet strenghts, wisdom, and deep caring for our mission and especially those we serve. Your Dad was one of the very best and all of us at Goodwill are...

A salute to Hugh from everyone currently working at the MAISD. Our thoughts are with the family.

What a dear, sweet, kind, generous and special man. He and Dorothy made everyone feel so welcome. My children and I had the privilege of being included in many family gatherings with them over the past several years, and they were both so very sweet. I especially enjoyed conversations with Hugh who was always up on current events and had such intelligent perspective. May you be dancing in eternity with Dorothy. Peace and comfort to the Tyler family.

A fond farewell to a great fraternity brother in Zeta Delta Epsilon back in those heady days at WMU in the aftermath of WWII. Rest well, Hugh.

Dear Mary, family and friends,
What a great guy was Hugh! We all were blessed to have him leading us in public education in Muskegon. Our prayers for comfort for the void, and joy as you share memories together! We are in Tucson and not able to share with you...may God bless you all!

To the Tyler family: What a privilege to have work with Mr. Tyler at MAISD. I knew Hugh as a good friend and colleague. My you find comfort in our Lord Jesus Christ doing this time of your loss. The Terrell family
