Dr. Hugo Rene Cuadra

I worked with Dr Cuadra for years as a nurse, and he took care of me and several family members. What a wonderful Dr and human being. I am still working at Baystate and was able to see him for a few minutes while he was inpatient. My deepest condolences to his wife, sons and family

Just heard that Hugo died. He was my colleague, personal physician and friend for many years. May he rest in peace. Marc Goldman

Dr. Cuadra was a kind, gentle and astute physician. I met him as a young nurse just out of school and very "green". He was the type of physician you could approach for a question, or share a concern. He was a great listener so concerned about his patient´s wellness. He always had a smile on his face at the hospital and he warmly greeted all. This community has certainly suffered a loss at his passing. He was one of the great ones.

My wife and I just heard of Hugo´s passing and are very much saddened!! How frighteningly fast time goes! I met Hugo when my physician, Franco Navazio, departed and was blessed to have Hugo for my doctor from that time until his retirement. He was also kind enough to, at my request, care for my cherished grandmother. When I was asked how long I´d been a patient of Hugo´s I´d simply reply, "longer than most marriages!" I was not aware of his passing, I have beautiful memories of my cousin when he visited Nicaragua, he always made sure to spend time with his uncle Arturo, my father, always laughing, polite, a great person, my heart is with his Mary Ann his children, grand children. My husband are so sorry. A big hug for each of you. With deepest sympathy.

To the Cuadra family please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Dr. Cuadra. I had the absolute pleasure of knowing Doctor while he worked in his office with Dr. PJ Ramaswamy. Two wonderful gentlemen that both made you feel like you were their favorite patient fully discussing every detail of your visit as if you were their best friend. You all have a special angel now watching over you until you all meet again.
