TRICE, Hunter G., 83,

of Mechanicsville, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 after a battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean B. Trice; his parents, Frank B. and Oma S. Trice; brother and sister, Stuart Trice and Alice Alexander. He is survived by three sons, Donald G. Trice and wife, Tammy, Ronald G. Trice and wife, Laureen, and Kenneth R. Barnett and wife, Mary; three granddaughters, Michelle, Kristen and Ashley Trice. Mr. Trice was a veteran of the Korean War. He received the Bronze Star with Valor and the Purple Heart and was a member of VFW Post No. 9808. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 9, at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, and where services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment to follow in Washington Memorial Park.
