Hurbert's and Margaret's complete and undying love for each other was a loving testimony to all who knew them. It was a pleasure to know Hurbert through my friendship with Margaret. It was an honor to know Dr. Malherbe and a unique pleasure to be invited to his home. To be allowed to observe the adoring care given to him by the incomparable Margaret was a privilege. His gentle dignity in the face of adversity will live long in our memories.
