Not sure what to say?

Hello Zeber Family - I just heard about your Dad and am so sorry. I always loved his sense of humor and his sea captain composure. I remember him being a parent volunteer at a Magnificat dance at Wagner's Country Inn. All he did was walk or paced the lobby as if he were on "Watch". Another time I called him "Bud" but learned very quickly that Captain Zeber was how to properly address him. His energy, quick wit, and no nonsense attitude has impacted my life.

God Bless you all and...

Bud lived next to us on Bidwell Avenue. He was such a wonderful man. So sorry for your loss. Your family is in our prayers.
Love,
Joe, Theresa & Emme Roth

To The Zeber family,
My sympathies to you. I am the daughter of Capt. Joe & Claire Murphy of Lakewood,Ohio. We always knew "Bud" Zeber & wife from the Lakes & Shipmasters. Mom & Dad have now met him above & they are having a great reunion - all about sailing on the lakes & their
lives together.

Dear Zeber Family:

On behalf of the staff and members of Lake Carriers' Association, I offer our deepest sympathy in the passing of Captain Bud Zeber.

He loved the Great Lakes, he loved life, but most of all he loved his family.

Dear David, Phil, Laura, Ray, Nance, Susie, Judy and Rick,

My Mom just called me and told me that your Dad passed. He was a wonderful man and father and will be missed. I'll be thinking of you today and my prayers are with you. Miss seeing all of you. Love,

Terrie (Koster) Griffin

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Dear Judy and the entire Zeber Family,
Judy, I haven't seen you in years but I feel the bond of St. Chris and beyond. I have nothing but the fondest memories of laughing and enjoying life with you. I lost my Dad two years ago around the holidays as well, and I know how difficult it can be. I will be thinking about you and your family and keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the family at this most difficult time. I am with you in spirit Nancy just as you were there for me. Love you, Jodi
