He was a true gentleman, learned the automotive business and treated all employees with respect and appreciation. I made the move with him several years later when he purchased what became Hyer Ford in Shrewsbury. I had many happy times as he shared boat trips and employee dinners with me. Dave Follett

I just learned about the passing of Hyer today. Cathy & I wish to express our condolences to the family. I truly enjoyed working with this kind and friendly person at VW Park Shore and Hyer Ford many years ago. Will never forget the ever present smile.

I was just speaking of Hyer today. I worked for Hyer at the Ford dealership he owned in Red Bank, NJ. I respected this man and absolutely adored him.

It brings me great sadness to hear of Hyer's death. I worked for him for more than 5 years at his Ford Dealer in Red Bank from 1983-1989. My grandfather also knew and worked for Hyers Family from their trucking company in Perth Amboy as well. What a great person as well as a boss,and friend... I will miss him dearly. My prayers go out to the Larsen Family, may God bless, he will be in my memories forever.
