Joey (you'll always be Joey to those of us that knew you growing up in Norfolk),
My memories of your dad go back to the late 60's and visiting his "bachelor pad" with you at the Beach. What a piece of work Hy was! Upbeat and loved to laugh. He definitely lived life the way he wanted to---hmmm, maybe you got that characteristic from him. Just wanted you to know I was thinking about you and sending positive thoughts your way.

Hy was a most interesting man. More human than most people. His infectious personality will always be remembered by me.

My memories of Hy go back to Fork Union Military Academy where we were good friends - all are excellent memories - as he helped me along academically (simply because he was a good student and I was not, He was on the boxing team (and very good) and I was his manager.
