Hyman Wishnick

Great-Uncle Chaim was a real heimisher Yid, he was one of my first exposures to what an old-world Jew was like. I have many great memories of him throughout my life. He lived a full life and was worthy to see nachas after losing everything during the War. May the Almighty comfort my Great-Aunt Rosalie and his entire family among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Hyman lived an amazing life and was loved by his devoted family. May he Rest In Peace.

So sorry to hear of Hyman's passing, he was a great man. I worked for him at the Colts Neck General Store and Cream Ridge. Condolences to the family.

Years ago when I was working on a road crew in Interlaken, we could only let one line of traffic go at a time. Someone kept blowing their horn at me and finally I turned around and yelled out Wait your turn! All of a sudden I hear laughter, so I walk back to the car and it was Mr. Wishnick. We spoke for about 10 minutes while I continued to direct traffic. My warmest condolences to my old friends Dan and Paul on the passing of your father.
